Excarnation.

Excarnation Biography

Excarnation took form in 2001 with the two founding members being Mark Britton
(keyboards and vocals) and Chris Williamson (guitars and bass). Within a year
their incredibly necro self-titled debut album was released through Odium Records.

After the release of ‘Excarnation’ the 'Winter Burial' MCD was recorded and self-released.
A year of stagnation ensued due to Mark Britton leaving the band's home town of
Kenilworth but Excarnation was reborn in the Summer of 2003 with a full live line-up now
featuring Adam Yarnall on the drums and Adam Moore on the bass.

In the past year Excarnation have had an abundance of successful live performances
supporting the likes of Unsanctum and Diamanthian and headlining in some local shows.
In the Spring of 2004 ‘The Ruined Glory of Elizabethan England’ was recorded but only
the desk-mix was released due to the mixed version being a complete mess.
The Summer of 2004 saw the recording and self-release of the excellent 'Ancient Monuments' EP.
This recording shows a change in direction - there is now more thechnicality and power
but still the necro production and dark atmospheres that Excarnation have become renound for.
